Rustic, Charming, Unique, Asian tiny House with Verandah, seating area, fire-pit & BBQ.  A totally Asian Experience!

This stunning unique stay, elephant-themed Thai House is situated in a picturesque garden that is well-lit at night using sensors which create a wonderful ambience. It is perfect for relaxing and alfresco dining. An ideal place for individuals, partners or friends.

Inside the Thai Retreat, you will see an Original comfortable Victorian Brass Bed with a heated mattress (during winter months), there is also a single bed so ample room for more than one guest as the accommodation can sleep up to 3 guests.

 

Adjacent to the bedroom is a victorian shower suite with power controlled showerhead.  Along the gravel path is a Victorian flush toilet which is housed in a brick building.  This is what we call the  ‘Thai Pei’  with its own sink area for washing hands (cold running water).

 

Outside is a kitchen area with a sink unit to wash dishes etc.  Inside the cupboards to the sink area are pots n pans and cooking cutlery in case you are BBQing or alfresco cooking in the garden.   All this makes for an ideal getaway which is only a stroll away from the beach.

The Thai House is as private as can be and I ensure the garden is private for sole use.  The Thai house does have its own private area of garden exclusive for Thai House Guests.

There are bamboo trees adorned around it for additional privacy.  On the Thai House Verandah are sun chairs and cushions with side tables for relaxing.

Inside the Thai retreat, you will find elephant-themed kitchenware, bed linen, cushions and lampshades (all very cute and adorable).   There is a microwave, and mini-fridge with fresh milk, jam and butter as well as a fresh coffee machine, kettle and toaster. There is a two-ringed electric portable hob which can be used inside or outside so many possibilities for alfresco cooking. Flip flops are provided for your comfort as too are gowns or bring your own slippers for your own comfort, these are very handy to have so walking along to the toilet and the bathroom areas are comfortable.  There is Sky TV, A Movie channel and Netflix!

 

The Thai garden is a wonderful spot to recoup, with many seating areas and a hammock, and soak up the summer sun before heading out on a seven-minute stroll to Whitstable’s trendy bustling harbour and the infamous Harbour street where all of Whitstable’s incredible restaurants and independent shops are of abundance.

 

The large gas Weber BBQ is ready to use in the garden at any time if required.

Guest access is through a gated well lit entrance. The beauty of this stay is that you are only 2 minutes from the train station so if coming by train it’s ideal as you don’t have to search for your accommodation with luggage too far from embarking off the train. Stroll off stroll in – you are there!! And only a 7-minute walk to the high street, the beach, the Harbour and Harbour Street where you will find the cafes and restaurants and boutique shops.

Coming by car? You can park in your own secure private gated drive. (Request at time of booking please) If you want to leave your luggage there is an outside utility room where you can drop off or leave before you head home.

Pets are also welcome.
